George Clooney’s older sister, Adelia Zeidler, is dead. The actor confirmed that she passed away on Friday, December 19. George and Adelia are the children of Nick Clooney, a former anchorman and television host, and Nina Bruce, a beauty queen and city councilwoman.Their parents met at a beauty pageant that Nick was judging, and Nina was competing in. They tied the knot in 1959 and welcomed their first child, Ada, the following year.
