James Tupper has been making headlines after he was recently spotted on a dinner date with Lori Loughlin.

This comes after Loughlin confirmed her separation from her longtime husband, Mossimo Giannulli. According to a report in E! News, Tupper and Loughlin were photographed sharing a deep conversation after dining at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood, California, on October 1, 2025.

In another picture, they were seen sharing a warm hug before leaving for their vehicles at the valet. Tupper donned a pair of denims with a matching jacket over a white shirt, while Loughlin sported a pair of wide-legged jeans with a black blazer. They completed their look with black shoes.

James Tupper was previously married to Katherine Mayfield. She was a novelist and a playwright. He was also in a long-term relationship with Anne Heche. She died in a fiery car accident in August 2022. She was 53 during that time. She was in a relationship with Tupper from 2007 to 2018.

James Tupper is a Canadian actor who is known for his role as Jack Slattery on the ABC television series Men in Trees. He was born on August 4, 1965, in Dartmouth, Canada. He was also seen in Aftermath, Space in Canada.

Tupper and Anne Heche shared a significant relationship that lasted over a decade. They first met on the set of the TV series Men in Trees in 2006, according to a report in Entertainment Weekly.

However, it was not until 2007 that the former couple began to date. They shared a son named Atlas, and co-parented Heche’s elder son, Homer, from her previous marriage with Coley Laffoon. In 2018, the couple went their separate ways.

In a joint statement shared with People magazine, they wrote:

However, the email submitted by James Tupper did not meet California’s legal requirements for a will, which contributed to the ongoing legal disputes. After years, it seems Tupper has finally decided to move on, as he was spotted with actress Lori Loughlin.
