Jasmine Tookes stole the spotlight at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show by confidently opening the runway while nine months pregnant.

Tookes wore a gold netted dress with intersections adorned with teardrop-shaped gems. Her outfit was accompanied by an ornate shell-shaped cape, covered with multiple bulbs. She completed her look with metallic heels and paused at the end of the runway to cradle her bump.

The 34-year-old supermodel is expecting her second child with husband Juan David Borrero. Tookes was all smiles when she walked the ramp at the event held at the Brooklyn venue in New York City.

Borrero is the son of Ecuador’s former vice-president Alfredo Borrero. He is a businessman and an early employee of Snapchat. His LinkedIn describes him as the company’s 23rd employee and first business development hire.

Jasmine Tookes married her husband, Juan David Borrero, on September 4, 2021, in a lavish wedding ceremony held at Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco in Quito, Ecuador.

She met Juan in 2016 when Snapchat hired her to promote a new feature called Group Stories. In an interview with Vogue, Jasmine recalled how it was a lunch date that brought them close. She said:

“We all happened to be in L.A. for a fashion show, so I went to lunch with Juan and a couple other Snapchat employees.”

She added:

“Following that lunch, Juan invited me to a birthday party that same night. There was a natural attraction to each other. We kept in touch since that night, and the rest is history.”

According to his LinkedIn profile, Borrero obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Relations with a minor in political science from the prestigious Stanford University in 2012. He was also a Division 1 fencer.

Jasmine Tookes and Juan Borrero welcomed their first child, a daughter named Mia Victoria, in November 2023. In an interview with People magazine, Tookes shared at that time that she feels incredibly blessed and grateful. She said:

“Every day is filled with so much joy and love. It's an amazing feeling to see her little personality more and more each day. Just recently, she started smiling, and it truly melts my heart every time.”

She announced her second pregnancy in July 2025. The couple shared the news on their Instagram in July 2025. In an interview with Vogue, Jasmine Tookes shared about her second pregnancy and said:

“I’m a big planner. Having another baby was something that my husband and I always wanted to do. It was just a matter of timing and when it made sense—when we both weren't traveling as much.”

Tookes is a native of California. She was born on February 1, 1991. Her mother, Cary Robinson, is a celebrity stylist. She started modeling around age 15, and quickly rose to international fame. She walked her first Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2012 and became an angel in 2015.
