Jeff Garcia died at 50, in Los Angeles, California, on December 10, 2025. Jeff, who is a stand-up comic, an actor, and a voice artist, started his professional career as a comedian, eventually transitioning to acting. In the early '90s, Jeff performed at comedy clubs across California. It was in '95 that he first got involved in acting. While he acted in TV shows and voiced in animated films and TV series, Jeff has also starred in Reality Bites Back, a reality television show presented by Michael Ian Black.

Jeff Garcia, who was married to Lisa Garcia for eleven years, with whom he shared a son, JoJo, and a daughter, Savannah, gained major recognition as a voice artist after he worked on the popular 2001 Nickelodeon animated series Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. He has also worked on the other spin-off shows of Jimmy Neutron.

The unfortunate news of Jeff Garcia's death was announced in a post on December 10 by his son, JoJo Garcia, who, according to his Instagram profile, is a stand-up comedian. In his post, he stated that his father died after dealing with several health issues. According to BNO News, JoJo Garcia, regarding his father, said:

"The talent my father possessed was truly one of a kind. From voice acting to stand up comedy, he shined with his quick wit, brash humor, and charm. He has made such an impact on people’s lives internationally, whether you grew up watching Jimmy Neutron, or shared a laugh with him at one of his shows."

According to TMZ's report, as cited by BNO News, Jeff Garcia died at a Southern California hospital. Jeff, who previously had a stroke and a brain aneurysm, went through multiple health complications over the last few months. He was admitted to the hospital on Monday, December 8, as he faced breathing problems.

However, after Jeff's passing, his son JoJo Garcia took to Instagram, and in a carousel post, honored his father by sharing a bunch of photos, with a caption that read:

"He was unapologetically himself and I will always admire the love, compassion, and drive that he had. He may be gone, but he will NEVER be forgotten."

JoJo ended the post with:

"I know you’re in heaven smiling down and you’re in a better place now. No more pain. I’m going to make you proud pops. Fly high, Rocket Man. LLJG."
