Mark Ruffalo’s son, Keen Ruffalo, has spoken about the best advice he received from his father on succeeding in Hollywood.

While speaking to iHeartRadio Canada, the 24-year-old shared the importance of consistency and persistence. He said:

“You have to do so many auditions. Eventually you're going to land one.”

Keen Ruffalo was recently spotted along with his dad at the premiere of his film New Year's Rev at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, 2025, according to a report in E! News. He further shared that he had gone through many auditions before landing his current role. He said:

“It takes a lot and it sometimes sucks and it's hard to keep that up after getting told no so many times.”

He added,

“but after how many you do, you find one that's perfect.”

Keen was born on June 19, 2001, in the USA. He is known for films such as Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Begin Again (2013), and Hal & Harper (2025).

Mark Ruffalo’s son Keen Ruffalo is his only son and the eldest child. He shares him with his wife of 19 years, Sunrise Coigney. Speaking about his father duties in 2019 with People Magazine, the Marvel actor said:

“I like those moments where you’re just chugging along and then, all of a sudden, your kids open up to you, and you have this deep conversation where they express their troubles — it’s hard for them, especially at that age. But my kids are way more savvy than I was, man. They’re so engaged in the world.”

Keen Ruffalo was born a year after the marriage his parents in 2000. He has two sisters: 20-year-old Bella Noche Ruffalo and 17-year-old Odette Moon Ruffalo.
