Kelley Mack, best known for her role as Addy in Season 9 of The Walking Dead, died on Saturday, August 2, 2025.
People magazine reported that she was diagnosed with glioma of the central nervous system. She was 33. Her family announced her death in an official statement shared on her social media account. It read that she “passed peacefully on Saturday evening with her loving mother Kristen and steadfast aunt Karen present.”

She is survived by her parents, Kristen and Lindsay Klebenow; her siblings, sister Kathryn and brother Parker; grandparents Lois and Larry; and her boyfriend Logan.
Kelley Mack’s brother, Parker, is also an actor. Born on October 5, 1996, in St. Louis, Missouri, he is currently 28 years old. He began his acting career in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he performed in theatre, commercials and print work. His most recognized role is Mikey in the film Ouija 2: Origin of Evil. His other work credits include Chicago Fire, Faking It, and Chasing Life.

Kelley Mack developed a passion towards filmmaking at a young age when she was gifted a mini video camera. Her mother and father always backed her in her future endeavours. As a result, she stepped as an actor in her career with commercials. She also earned an award from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts for her role in The Elephant Garden (2008).
Her mother worked with her as a creative collaborator, and they co-wrote several screenplays, including On the Black, a college baseball story which was inspired from Mack’s grandparents’ lives.
Her other project with her mother included the film Welcome to Morrow, as per her official website. Mack was also a producer and known for producing and acting in short films - A Knock at the Door (2016) and My Own Silence (2019).
Her brother also took inspiration from his sister and followed into her footsteps. According to his bio on his official website, Parker studied at the Actors Training Center, The Second City and the Acting Studio in Chicago, where he developed his acting skills. He also started his career by appearing first in commercials, followed by films.
Kelley Mack was in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend, Logan Lanier. Although they never married but her sister referred to him as Mack’s “dearest boyfriend” in a heartfelt Instagram post, announcing her death.
