Daniel Neeson, the youngest son of Liam Neeson and Natasha Richardson, has gotten engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Natalie Ackerman.

The proposal took place in New York City on September 6, 2025. In his statement to People magazine, Neeson said:

“Yesterday I got to ask my best friend to join me on this journey called life. I could write novels on why I love Natalie, but there’s something deeper, something so cosmic about our relationship that I know we’re meant to be in this universe together.”

According to the pictures shared on their respective Instagram accounts, the engagement took place on a boat on the Hudson River. In a series of photos from the engagement party shared on his Instagram stories, Daniel wrote, “Life is beautiful” on one of them.

With this announcement, Neeson’s fiancée, Natalie Ackerman, has drawn attention towards her as people are intrigued to know more details. She is currently working as a Brand Communications Manager at Bloomingdale’s, according to her LinkedIn profile. They have been together since 2017.

All we know about Daniel Neeson’s fiancée, Natalie Ackerman

According to a report in People magazine, they graduated from the New Orleans college in 2019.

Daniel studied theater and digital media production at the college, while Ackerman studied business, according to their respective LinkedIn profiles. Daniel is now an entrepreneur. He launched his clothing line called Pine Outfitters in 2022. He is also the Co-Founder and President at De-Nada Tequila.

After her graduation, Natalie Ackerman worked as an intern for three years before landing a job role as a Global Marketing Coordinator at Fresh in 2019, as per her LinkedIn profile. In the following years, she served as Marketing and Special Events Assistant and Marketing and Special Events Coordinator before becoming a Brand Communications Manager in 2023.

Ackerman frequently shares about her fiancé on her social media account. Her latest post is from their vacation in Mallorca, Spain. She shared several scenic pictures with Neeson from the vacation spots in a carousel in July 2025. She captioned the post -

“I could really see this working on the outside.”

Neeson also shared several pictures from their holiday, as he captioned the post –

“50% siesta 50% fiesta.”

The couple also shared a few glimpses of their engagement party, which was held in New York City at an Irish pub, The Dead Rabbit. Their friends toasted the couple with custom-made drinks from Daniel’s brand, De Nada Tequila. They were named Tulane Bombshell and Knit Nat Negroni, according to a report in Entertainment Now.

In another clip shared by Natalie Ackerman on her Instagram story, the pair is seen cheered by their pals as they enter the pub following their engagement. According to People magazine, the fun get-together included a spread of sliders, fries, and a cake.
