University of Michigan’s head football coach Sherrone Moore was fired on December 10 after internal investigators found “credible evidence” that he violated the school’s policy by engaging in an “inappropriate relationship with a staff member,” the Wolverines’ athletic director, Warde Manuel, told the press.“U-M head football coach Sherrone Moore has been terminated, with cause, effective immediately. Following a university investigation, credible evidence was found that Coach Moore engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. This conduct constitutes a clear violation of university policy, and U-M maintains zero tolerance for such behavior,” Manuel added.A few hours later, Moore was taken into custody by Pittsfield Township Police with assistance from the Saline Police Department after officers responded to an “alleged assault” at an apartment in the area, as part of a domestic incident with an unnamed woman. He reportedly also threatened to harm himself, which raised further caution.The authorities claimed that the incident wasn’t “random in nature” and an investigation is currently underway.In the wake of the double scandal, Paige Shiver's name has surfaced online.
