Patrick Beverley has been arrested in Texas on a third-degree felony assault charge related to a family violence incident.According to the reports, he allegedly assaulted his 15-year-old sister, Mya Beverley, after she left the house to meet her boyfriend. The sister reported that he grabbed her by the neck, choking her for 20 to 30 seconds, causing her to feel pain. She told the police she was losing oxygen and was not able to breathe. He then slammed her body against the walls, lay her on the sofa, stood on top of her, and punched her in the left eye.Beverley’s sister claimed that during the assault, their mother remained inside her room and did not intervene.
