The news of Pauline Potter’s death went viral as fans from all over remembered her life in season 3 of “My 600-lb Life.” The lady appeared in the show with hopes of changing her life, which many were keenly aware of. The latest publicity arose when Pauline’s son, Dillon, shared a video in which she showed that she was indeed dead, along with what transpired in her life before that.

According to Dillon,

"Pauline’s health turned serious when she was involved in a car accident earlier this year."

Dillon explained,

"We were driving down a dark two-lane road in the middle of the night when our vehicle struck a truck and trailer that was stopped on the road without lights. This resulted in broken ribs and chronic pain for Pauline Potter. After this, it became difficult for her to regain her health."

And then, weeks went by, and my injuries led to other medical conditions. I started having problems with eating, and then they discovered that I had a blockage in my esophagus. That meant that food would reflux back up. I was going in and out of the hospital so often, with tests and surgeries, but none of it brought me any relief. To make matters worse, I also contracted COVID.

In November, her physicians suggested that she needed hospice care. Dillon brought her home, where she lived out her remaining days with her family. Following her death, Dillon set up a fundraising event for her cremation costs, which brought further publicity to her situation and inspired fans, who remembered her from films, to offer condolences.

Pauline Potter’s life was never easy, but she overcame every bit of it with strength and vulnerability. Now, her death brings a conclusion to a story which many people felt a part of. The legacy she has left behind also involves her life in the show as well as the affection that her son has for her.
