Veteran filmmaker, actor, producer, screenwriter, and political activist Rob Reiner and his wife and photographer Michele Singer were found dead at their home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, around 3:30 pm local time on December 14. They were 78 and 68, respectively.According to PEOPLE, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an emergency medical aid call at the scene and found the couple with fatal wounds, consistent with stabbing. However, upon arrival, they found both the victims deceased.The publication has exclusively confirmed from multiple sources that the couple’s death is being ruled as an “apparent homicide” and their son, Nick Reiner, is suspected to be the killer.Nick Reiner, 32, is a screenplay writer best known for the 2015 film Being Charlie.
