Who is Sabrina Wollmann? Kadu Santos proposed to his girlfriend months before his death

Brazilian bodybuilder and fitness influencer Ricardo Nolasco dos Santos, popularly known as Kadu Santos, passed away in Novo Hamburgo, Rio Grande do Sul, in southern Brazil. His death occurred on October 20, 2025, according to the New York Post. The cause of his death remains undisclosed at the time of writing. He was 31.

His demise came three months after he proposed to his longtime girlfriend and personal trainer, Sabrina Wollmann, onstage. Ricardo even shared the moment on Instagram.

Kadu’s father, Amauri Santos, announced his death on social media and shared his memorial details. He wrote:

"The saddest day of my life. My beloved son."

Sabrina Wollmann also shared the funeral details on her Instagram Stories. However, she hasn’t publicly spoken about Santos’ demise yet. Santos’ funeral took place on Tuesday in the outskirts of Porto Alegre, according to express.co.uk.

Kadu Santos began dating Sabrina Wollmann in August 2021. Four years later, on July 19, 2025, the couple got engaged when he went down on one knee during an onstage event, according to express.co.uk. At the time, Sabrina told her fiancé:

“I love you with all my heart, I admire you, and I'm very proud of what we have become together throughout these years. Thank you for helping me become the best version of myself. I choose you every day to share this mad life with you.”

Sabrina Wollmann is a personal fitness trainer and instructor who graduated with a physical education degree from Unisinos in February 2024. She has over 3,065 followers on her Instagram account, @sabrinawollmanpersonal. Now a PE teacher, Kadu Santos’ fiancée is studying nutrition, according to her social media bio.

She also offers wellness coaching and consulting services at Body Engineering, PowerCT, and Hard Fit studios in Novo Hamburgo. On September 28, she posted a picture with Kadu Santos captioned, “Our Saturday.”

He, in turn, commented under her post:

“With you, I’ve found the key to open any door.”

Santos was a bodybuilding champion who had won nearly a dozen titles, including the regional Muscle Contest twice. He regularly uploaded videos from his workout sessions to his 13,500 Instagram followers and also offered them tips. Kadu was also a fitness coach and digital consultant who believed in the mantra of

“transforming bodies and minds with practice and knowledge.”

Earlier this month, Kadu Santos and his fiancée mourned the death of their beloved cat, Baki, via a joint Instagram post.


Tributes pour in for Kadu Santos

Kadu Santos’ fellow bodybuilder and close friend, Diego Wiegand, wrote a tribute on social media on Tuesday:

“Today, heaven is certainly celebrating. Kadu was a person who was completely out of the ordinary, incredible as an athlete, coach, and even more so as a person. It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to you today.”
Wiegand added, “It is very difficult to accept, and I still haven't come to terms with it, but you have left a legacy here on earth and will always be remembered by everyone for the man you were! I love you, brother."

Likewise, the training studio PowerCT, where Santos worked, called him an example of “dedication, discipline, and companionship,” who left a mark of inspiration on his friends, teachers, and colleagues.

Event promoter and friend Joel Rodriguez also shared on social media that Kadu Santos began training at the age of 17 and “fought hard” to become successful. Rodriguez also called his late pal a “friendly” and “charismatic” person who was an athlete with a lot of potential.
