She’s a social media influencer with over 90K followers on Instagram, where she frequently shares glimpses of their date nights. Born on March 1, 1999, in the U.S., she is currently 26 years old—11 years younger than Shane Gillis, who is 37. The couple made their red carpet debut together at the 2025 ESPY Awards on July 16, marking a major public milestone in their relationship.

Shane Gillis and his girlfriend, Grace Brassel, have been linked since June 2024, when they were spotted at NFL player Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo's Rhode Island wedding, according to a report in People magazine.

But the two confirmed their relationship in a December 2025 TikTok video. She said that she was “dating the best comedian in the whole wide world.”

Brassel hails from Midland Park, New Jersey. She attended Midland Park High School in New Jersey and graduated in June 2017, as per her Instagram. She has lived in several places she called home while growing up, including Pennsylvania, New York, and Texas.

She later graduated from the University of Delaware in May 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies. In a graduation post, she shared:

“Transferring to this school 3 years ago was the best decision of my life, and with that I’ve made the best friends of my life.”

She is currently working as a social media strategist for DIFF Eyewear, per her LinkedIn profile. She is popular on her social media profiles where she shares her regular updates from her personal life, which includes several posts with her boyfriend, Shane Gillis.

Reports indicated that she appeared on the Dr. Phil show in 2023. She spoke on the harms of vaping after she was hospitalized in 2022 for a collapsed lung. She shared the news on her Instagram, writing:

“Watch me be interviewed on Dr Phil tomorrow on CBS!. I teach the children the harms of vaping. Definitely one of the coolest things I’ve ever gotten to do and thanks to @drphil and the lovely producers, it was such a positive experience. Manifesting more TV appearances in 2023!”
