Why did Dua Lipa cancel her Indonesia concert date? Refunds and all you need to do 

Dua Lipa was scheduled to perform at the Indonesia Arena in Jakarta on November 9, 2024 as part of her ongoing tour. The singer however was forced to cancel the performance due to alleged 'security threats'. The singer announced the cancelation of her concert via a post on her official Facebook page on November 8, 2024, stating:

"I am heartbroken to share that I won’t be able to perform in Jakarta this Saturday, November 9. I am there in your amazing country and ready to perform, but I am gutted to share that it has been determined that it is not safe for the performance to carry on due to safety issues with the staging."

Dua Lipa continued:

"I was so looking forward to this night, and it truly pains me that we cannot perform for you all, especially after such a long time since my last performance in Jakarta. Refunds will be made from your point of purchase. I love you all and truly can’t wait to be back together in the same room with you singing and dancing our hearts out as soon as possible."

It is unclear what exactly is the safety issue with the staging that prevented Dua Lipa from performing at the venue. As mentioned by Dua Lipa, the refunds for the concert will be processed by the point of purchase.

Authorized vendors generally process refunds automatically within 30 days of celebration. Those who purchased tickets from third party vendors will need to reach out to said vendors for refund details.

Dua Lipa to continue her Asia tour in Philippines and Japan

Dua Lipa is set to continue her Asia tour with a show in the Philippines on November 13, 2024 at the Philippine Arena in Manila, followed by two shows in Japan on November 16, 2024 and November 17, 2024. Dua Lipa will then perform in Taiwan on November 20, 2024, and then in Malaysia, Thailand, India, and South Korea throughout the rest of 2025.

Dua Lipa also has a Radical Optimism world tour scheduled for 2025. The dates and venues for the 2025 world tour are given below:
