Timothée Chalamet mourns his hair in a recent episode of The Graham Norton Show. In the Thursday, December 12 episode of the program, Timothée Chalamet explained how he lost his locks and why he is now carrying a buzz cut. Apparently, fans of the Dune actor weren't the only ones shocked by his new look; Chalamet himself was surprised he had to cut his hair. He revealed on the show that he begged the director to let him keep his hair as he didn't want to lose his identity.“Timothée, what happened to the beautiful Chalamet locks?” the host asked.“They are all gone. They've been stolen,” Timothée replied. When asked how long his locks have been missing, the actor replied:“June 25th.”He didn't put them on eBay, unfortunately, because he didn't think of it. Apparently, there might have been a stuffed cushion with Chalemet’s hair for sale.“You know, it was for a different… it was for a film, for Dune: Part Three. And, there is supposed to be a nice, character shift. And, I'm playing 15, 20 years older. So, we did a 3 millimeter haircut, I think it's called. And then the director wanted more, 1.5, then we did 1, and I begged him, and I said, ‘please, please, like.’”He continued:“You know, your hair, weirdly, we are all attached, it's kind of like our personality. These follicles that grow out of our heads.”A funny moment happened when one of the hosts commented, ‘Samson,’ connecting Timothée’s experience to the biblical character who lost his power when Delilah cut his hair. The funny part was that the reference went over Chalamet’s head because he had no idea about the story of Samson.“I have never heard that,” he said. “I have no clue what you are talking about.”More details on Timothée Chalamet’s new haircutTimothée Chalamet debuted his new buzz cut in a promotional video for his latest movie, Marty Supreme.
