The Mandalorian & Grogu are the latest Star Wars project to see the light of day. Emmy-winning The Bear star Jeremy Allen White is joining the cast as the voice for Rotta the Hutt, the son of Jabba the Hutt. Pedro Pascal is returning as Din Djarin, The Mandalorian himself. Alien star Sigourney Weaver is also supposed to star in the role of the Rebel Alliance's veteran pilot. While their casting has been announced, many more choices are yet to be revealed. One of the cast members that the fans have reportedly been expecting to reprise their roles is star Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze.

Sackhoff, whose character was initially supposed to be a random, inconsequential one in the grand scheme of things, eventually became important for the loyal fans of Star Wars. So, they were wondering if she would appear in The Mandalorian & Grogu. Since the third season of The Mandalorian in 2023, they have been looking forward to her appearance in one Star Wars project or the other. When asked about this during the Indiana Comic Con 2025 in March, she said,

“I have not been in the armor in 2025.”

That comment does not say anything specific about her return or non-return in The Mandalorian universe. Considering the heavy NDAs for similar franchise projects, she might be holding on to the secrecy related to the reveal of her character's appearance or the lack thereof. However, her comments made fans worried that she might not be in another The Mandalorian chapter, especially The Mandalorian & Grogu. However, that might not be the case according to her comments during an interview with Screerant's Liam Crowley for her role in Fight or Flight, alongside Trap star Josh Hartnett and Bridgerton star Charithra Chandran.

Katee Sackhoff speaks about the possibility of Bo-Katan Kryze's return in The Mandalorian & Grogu

Katee Sackhoff recently had a conversation with Screenrant about Bo-Katan Kryze, and whether this Star Wars character of hers will ever return to the universe, especially Jon Favreau's The Mandalorian & Grogu. This Lucasfilm project comes after the third season of The Mandalorian, which made some fans wonder if it serves as a replacement for the season or a bridge between the events from the third season and what awaits them in the fourth season.

Even though the Star Wars fans are still dealing with these worries, they are interested in seeing Bo-Katan Kryze again. While it's unclear whether she will return or not, she mentions that the fans will see her "in some form". She also mentions Lucasfilm's Chief Creative Officer (CCO) Dave Filoni, who might not want to get rid of her character altogether for a personal reason.

"You will see her again in some form. That's all you need to know. Dave Filoni cannot get rid of me, because Bo Katan is based off of his wife, so I've got some job security."

Katee Sackhoff's comments do not specifically confirm Bo-Katan Kryze's return in The Mandalorian & Grogu like before, but they promise that this character will be in some shape or form in the upcoming chapter. On another note, some fans are hoping to see her in Ahsoka, the Star Wars series, alongside Rosario Dawson.
