Joaquin Torres is one of the freshest faces in the MCU, and fans are dying to see if he’ll finally take on the Super Soldier serum in Avengers: Doomsday. Played by Danny Ramirez, Joaquin has already made waves as the new Falcon, bringing energy, swagger, and a much-needed dose of representation as the first Latino Avenger.
Ramirez is now opening up on his character's future in the MCU as he talked about the Falcon's role in Avengers: Doomsday. Speaking to ScreenRant, the actor said,
"I think he'd take it [The Super Serum]...Someone like Joaquin, that's seen most of these Avengers battles through the news on his TV somewhere, and has been influenced from the perspective of the audience, as well, I think he, in the same way as to why we find the Super Soldier Serum fascinating in the first place, he would probably be like, "You know what, yeah, that's the only way I could compete in this way", without understanding the morality around it."

He then continued to talk about how the Super Serum will affect Joaquin as he added,
"Whether it's a mistake or not, Joaquin would probably say yes to it. And then the part that me, as Danny looking at Joaquin, I wouldn't be that scared, because obviously the Super Soldier Serum accentuates qualities that you have. I do think he's of a clearer heart and mind and soul than someone like even Walker, and has a different yearning than like Bucky."
Torres’ journey means a lot to many fans who see themselves in his story, and whether or not he gets the serum this time, Danny’s commitment and the character’s vibe have already made a huge impact. Avengers: Doomsday might finally reveal Joaquin’s next big move or leave us hungry for more. Either way, the excitement is real.
More details about Avengers: Doomsday

Avengers: Doomsday is shaping up to become one of the biggest films in the franchise. Pushed from its original July 2025 release to a high-stakes December drop, this chapter in the MCU is shrouded in secrecy, but the weight it carries is undeniable. The Russo brothers are back in the driver’s seat, and when those two steer, you know things are about to get wildly emotional and absolutely unhinged in the best way.
While Marvel’s keeping the actual plot locked pretty tight, the title alone screams end-of-the-world energy. The cast is stacked with all the big names from the MCU, joined by the legendary return of Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. Apart from that, the film is set to bring together several groups- the Avengers, the New Avengers, the Wakandans, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four. If anything, this could be Marvel's most glorious chapter yet.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters on 18 December 2025.
