Will there be a Wrong Paris 2? Speculations explored

There is a new love story streaming on Netflix, The Wrong Paris, and after the show (in the movie) ended, it might have given us some room for The Wrong Paris 2. The film was released on September 12, 2025, and stars Miranda Cosgrove as Dawn opposite Pierson Fodé as Trey McAllen III.

For starters, the movie is about a reality show called 'The Honey Pot,' where contestants would vie for a wealthy cowboy. And this show takes place in Paris. Well, Paris, Texas. Hence, the title. Dawn has participated here in hopes of making some money, but then eventually ends up, as it always happens in rom-coms, falling in love with the guy. YeeHaw!

As of this moment, there aren't any plans for The Wrong Paris 2, but the film's ending might lead to another story; we can't say for sure until it is announced officially.

What happens at the end of The Wrong Paris?

Dawn is just a mean, mean girl in the movie, and we know that because all she cares about is money. But we cannot blame her because she had plans to leave for Paris, France, from the beginning, as her dream is about this art school she wants to attend.

When she hears about this show taking place in Paris and can get her money, her hopes become high, and she wants to enter the show and get eliminated quickly with $20k in her hand. But then the tables turn when the producers reveal that the show is in Paris, Texas.

However, Dawn still thinks that $20k will at least fund her trip to France, so she enters there. However, her plans to stay extend after she learns that she can make more money if she stays there a while. Now that's greed talking, but again, we cannot blame her. She has dreams.

But this is, sort of, a wrong decision for her. And this is the reason that some people might hate her. She is actually falling for Trey, but hides that she plans to leave as soon as she gets her money.

How could this set The Wrong Paris 2?

Now the love story truly begins here. We see things developing between Trey and Dawn. They also escape the cameras and go for their own real date, where Trey shows the girl his favorite spot. This is the first time both confess their feelings for each other.

However, truth eventually reaches Trey, but Dawn also confesses later about how she schemed to get out of the show to live her dream. At last, Trey asks her if she will choose her or the money. This scheming girl chooses the latter, of course. Later, they share a kiss in the Eiffel Tower, and that's not Trey dreaming.

We then see photos of them in the end credits, giving us a glimpse at Dawn's future. That is the only thing that hints at a potential The Wrong Paris 2.
