The world of anthropomorphic mammals is back again in Zootopia 2, but this time, there's also something that the residents of the place aren't going to like which will make things more fun in the film. You can watch it in theaters beginning November 26, 2025.

There are subtle details in the film that you might miss, but we are here to shed light on some of them. These small details may be interesting enough to fuel your curious brain into developing your own theories you can share with your friends or film communities you are a part of.

Carrie Liao, the head of story at Disney said in one interview that,

"Pay attention to a lot of the signage. Because a lot of times they have some really fun signage in there that references other movies that we’ve done."

A lot of familiar voices, including Jason Bateman, Shakira, Idris Elba, Alan Tudyk, and more, will return in the sequel to the billion-dollar-earning Disney film. But some new and interesting voices of Ke Huy Quan, Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Danny Trejo, and more will make their way to the world of Zootopia.

We will start with the one we simply icouldn't gnore, which was a direct reference to a Tangled (2010) scene. In the 2010 movie, Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi) is sneaking into a tower, where he meets Rapunzel (Mandy Moore), and her frying pan, which she uses to knock him unconscious.

A similar sequence is happening in Zootopia 2, where Nick (Jason Bateman) and Judy (Ginnifer Goodwin) are working on a case involving this viper. At one point, Nick also uses a frying pan like Rapunzel to knock this viper out in the film. The viper is more or less knocked unconscious, not unlike Flynn.

If you haven't noticed, Zootopia 2 might also be bringing a brand new pig to town. Though we can't confirm it, these references made us think. There's a car chase scene in the movie where Nick and Judy are in a car that is designed exactly in the shape of a pig.

Nick also finds a goggle that is shaped the same. Maybe there's a pink piggie that is going to appear in the story.

Lastly, there might be another character that the trailer of Zootopia 2 might be hinting at. We can see the blue reptile being pulled by a tail. And, obviously, it's not the viper pulling himself unless he is using portals in the world of Doctor Strange.

Chances are, there could be another viper, and an evil one. We add the latter part because the blue viper doesn't appear to be someone that we can call a villain. Also, notice that when he appears in the ballroom scene, he has both his fangs but later, we can only see one.

Either one of the fangs has broken or there’s a different viper with two fangs in the film. We will certainly know that by the end of the film.
