Zootopia 2 might have already set up a third part of the animated franchise: Here’s how

There weren't any reptiles in Zootopia at first, but they were the foundation of the land where animals lived, as revealed in Zootopia 2, which went on to win audiences' hearts worldwide. Now, as the sequel is at large, we have to talk about Zootopia 3, which, of course, hasn't been announced yet.

However, Disney did give us a subtle hint about a potential third film in the popular animated film series. And what we can infer from this hint is that Zootopia 3, if it's happening, will have birds. Though in what capacity, we can't say for sure as of now.

Everyone is talking about a password that appears in the movie, and, if the crack is right, this password is a clue that there are birds in this land of anthropomorphic animals. In addition to that, the mid-credits scene just fuels the fire about the possibilities of flying creatures making their way into the franchise.

What is this password in Zootopia 2?

Paul Moldebrandt (voiced by Josh Gad) is a mole (the animal, not what you might be thinking) working as an IT expert in ZPD, and a cheetah named Clawhauser (voiced by Nate Torrence) is tasked to scrape some information from his computer. However, to access the computer, Clawhauser needs a password.

Thanks to a note available at Paul's desk, Zootopia 2 gives us a hint for its potential sequel. The password, which is gaining popularity on the internet, reads "P@Rt3izFr&BrdZ."

Now, look at it closely. And what appears, a phrase that might read "Part 3 is for real and birds are too." Now the final two words, "are too," are seemingly hidden by Clawhauser's fingers and might contain the terms "r2," making the entire password, "P@Rt3izFr&BrdZr2."

Nick (Jason Bateman) and Judy (Ginnifer Goodwin) have reconciled their partnership, which might also mean a new beginning for them. Nick might be in love with her partner, as we hear the words in that repaired carrot pen recording, "love you partner."

This is almost the end until the camera zooms in and a feather falls down near the pen, on the windowsill. Judy is, of course, unaware of this and has already left the place, probably thinking about the words from her partner.

What does this mean for a potential Zootopia 2 sequel?

There are a couple of possibilities if birds are set to arrive in the world of Zootopia. Either they will be friendly, or they won't be, especially if Disney decides to include birds of prey like eagles, hawks, owls, and more into the equation, which love to feast on snakes.

And now that all these reptiles have become a part of the animal world in Zootopia 2, we might see them as victims that need saving in the third installment. However, they are in safe hands, especially with ZPD always at work. And when there are adventurous partners like Nick and Judy, they are likely to handle things well. Though they are sure to leave a trail of chaos behind, which would be fun!
