General Hospital actors Sebastian Roché (Jerry Jacks) and Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix DuBois) paired up as a father-son duo for a charity reading recently in Los Angeles.

Staged at the Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles, the General Hospital stars were part of a well-known cast that assembled on August 17 to perform “The Bradys — The Lost Episode: A Very Brady Funeral.” The never-filmed episode was supposed to be the sixth episode of The Bradys, the 1990s drama reboot of the well-known sitcom The Brady Bunch.

According to Tom Lenk, one of the actors involved, Brady patriarch Mike Brady died in a helicopter crash in the episode.

Roché and Samuel performed supporting roles during the reading, and part of the script had them play father and son.

Melissa Peterman (Reba, Happy’s Place) led the pack as Carol Brady, with Jack Plotnick (Reno 911!) as the Ghost of Robert Reed/Mike Brady. Roché’s wife, Alicia Hannah-Kim, played Marcia, with Rachel Bay Jones, Kristen Vangsness, Juan Pablo Di Pace, Trixie Mattel, and Tom Lenk (American Horror Stories, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) portraying the other Brady children.

An Instagram user, Greg Hernandez (greginhollywood), posted a lot of photos from the show, including some of Roché and Samuel together.

On Instagram, Roché said that he had “So much fun doing this hilarious reading with these ridiculously talented people.”

The show, which was also livestreamed, benefitted CHIRLA, The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, and Chrysalis, an organization that provides employment services for low-income and homeless adults.

Roché began playing Jerry Jacks in 2007 and hasn’t been seen on the show since 2015. During his last stint, Jerry was sent to Steinmauer prison, but it was revealed in 2019 that Jerry had escaped the high-security international penitentiary.

Jerry is a candidate for the identity of the mysterious boss running things at the Five Poppies resort in Croatia, where Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is doing research and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) are being held captive. Jerry worked with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in the past, so with Britt being alive for mysterious reasons, and Ryan Paevey, who played her brother Nathan West, coming back to General Hospital for reasons that are just as mysterious, there are reasons he could be involved in this.

In an interview with People Magazine earlier this year, Roché didn’t rule out returning to General Hospital someday but said it wasn’t likely.

“I think it's firmly in the past. It was a great memory,” Roché, 60, said. “It was a great experience, but now I'm really in the creative. We have a lot of plans — Ali producing and writing, and me writing and continuing to act.”

Samuel has been scarce on General Hospital in recent years, coming back to perform in the Nurses’ Ball and for the memorial tributes to Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman). Samuel was a fixture on GH for several years, first as the best friend to Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo), helping her battle Britt, then getting involved with Lucas Jones and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen).
