Briana Lane, who won the hearts of many fans on General Hospital by filling in as Brook Lynn Quartermaine in 2020, just celebrated a major milestone in her life.Lane turned 40 years old on October 27th. She commemorated the occasion with a post on her Instagram account, saying she had spent time alone in the desert in Joshua Tree, California. I love you dearly!!!”While in Joshua Tree, Lane visited a horse sanctuary, where she said she rode mustangs and fed goats.The former General Hospital actress shared a post on Instagram in March with a long tribute to her late husband in on the second anniversary of his death.Lane played Brook Lynn for three months in 2020, filling in for Amanda Setton while she was on maternity leave. She returned to fill in for one episode in 2022. Lane played BLQ during some of the most difficult and momentous moments of the Q heiress’s life, when Brook Lynn helped Valentin get control of ELQ, got thrown out of the Quartermaine mansion by her father, and slept with Valentin. Then, she nearly died after getting her throat slashed by Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), which ended her singing career.For all this, Lane was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2021 for Outstanding Guest Performer.Since leaving General Hospital, Lane has appeared in films such as Under the 101 and Nora, and TV series such as 9-1-1: Lone Star, Puppy Place and American Horror Story.
