Former General Hospital star John Stamos has taken time over the holiday season to show gratitude for one of his greatest gifts: His wife, Caitlin McHugh Stamos.Stamos, who played Blackie Parrish on General Hospital, paid tribute to his wife in an Instagram post. (Caitlin) hasn’t been everywhere glamorous. She hasn’t been everywhere easily. She’s been in rooms where people needed help. She’s been with kids who needed safety. With families who needed food. With causes that don’t come with filters or first-class seats. She’s visited a lot of hearts this year, and that’s the kind of travel that sticks with me.“It’s been a tough year for a lot of people. For all of us, really. But I’ve learned watching her that it’s not just what happens to you. It’s what you do next. How you show up after the hard things. How you measure success when life has already been pretty generous to you. And whether you choose to keep that generosity moving forward.“So yes, this is a proud husband moment. A humble brag. I just wanted to take a minute to say how impressed I am by my wife. How proud I am of the way she lives, the way she gives, and the example she sets for our son. This year, she went places that matter. But I'm always learning something from her," he told People in 2023.Stamos is in the holiday spirit in more ways than one.Earlier this week, the former General Hospital star posted a video on his Instagram account of him dancing around, paying homage to a scene from the classic holiday film Love Actually. It was a tribute to a scene of Hugh Grant’s prime minister character dancing around a staircase. Stamos showed the video of him dancing alternating with clips of Grant doing the same things.He also has a recurring role in the second season of the Apple TV series Palm Royale, a comedy starring Kristen Wiig.
