She was nominated twice for a Daytime Emmy for playing the role, winning one in 2017 as Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series.In 2023, Emmy winner Kate Mansi took over the role of Kristina, and Ainsworth has been focusing on her production company since.Since leaving General Hospital, Ainsworth starred on an episode of NCIS in a 2023 episode, which was Season 20, Episode 20 of the long-running iconic show.
