In September, the General Hospital actor shared several of the photos on his Instagram account, commenting “We won’t see another like him,” and has since changed his profile picture on his Instagram and X accounts to be one of the photographs taken by Young.McKenna revealed this on his X account, responding to a viral post by a user named 0x45o which simply said, “can yall pls tell me the lore behind your profile pictures.” That post had over 5,000 replies and 37,000 reposts.McKenna quote-tweeted it and said “This was probably the last pic taken by (Young) before he passed. He was killed by a drunk driver just months ago.”Several fans offered their condolences. One said she met Young recently at a concert from the Day Players, a band which features soap stars Wally Kurth, Carson Boatman, Brandon Barash and Eric Martsolf. She said she took a selfie with Young and said “(Young) captured the happiness I was feeling from being there. That pic means the world to me now.”After Young’s death was announced, the General Hospital star posted on X at the time, saying "I’m in complete shock. We just did a shoot a couple weeks ago and we texted this weekend. Brad was such a talented, funny, warm, caring guy. He donated his time, his talent, he raised money for underserved schools and the world is darker today without his light. Rest easy, bud."
