Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on General Hospital

From the moment Sasha told Michael she was pregnant, we didn't understand much of her reasoning for keeping Michael out of their child's life. We could agree with the part about not wanting to risk Michael losing his other two kids, but the whole mobster-adjacent life and Quartermaine chaos part lost its luster when she allowed Jason to pretend to be her baby daddy. Jason is a mob hitman and also a Quartermaine, so her original excuse went out the window super fast. Now, the truth is out about Michael being the dad, Michael (kinda) won custody of his kids, and he is even living under the same roof with Michael, Wiley, and Amelia, and yet...Michael can't be on the birth certificate? Say what? Sasha wants to make sure that Daisy knows who her father is and who her brother and sister are, but she won't allow his name on the birth certificate because she wants to be an independent woman who makes all decisions for her child without the father's say. Why? And why would Michael even agree to this? At least Sasha is willing to update her will so Michael gets custody of Daisy in case something happens to her. However, if his name was just on the birth certificate as Daisy's legal dad, that wouldn't have been necessary. Sasha's rules seem like a plot point rather than anything that comes from a place of character or sense.
