Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on General Hospital

Thank you, General Hospital, for finally giving Sasha Gilmore Corbin Scorpio (Quartermaine) the happiness that has eluded her for so long. From bird flu and heart attacks to a lost baby, drugs, a conservatorship, and Ferncliff, there are few soap characters who have been more tortured than Sasha over the last decade. We watched Sasha go through it over and over and over again, but finally seeing her with her little girl in her arms with Michael by her side was all worth it. In the end, it has always been Michael for Sasha. She sacrificed their relationship so he could win custody of Wiley. He wanted to marry her then, but Sasha felt Willow would be the better spouse in a court case, so she let Michael go. Losing Michael is what made her turn to drugs in the first place. Letting her now have Michael's child while Michael is free to be by her side was everything Sasha and Sasha fans could have asked for. Sasha finally escaped the torture chamber in time to start a new life with Michael. GH also thankfully realized the Sasha and Jason route was just no bueno. They quickly turned that around and wisely recast Michael, throwing him into Sasha's orbit on day one. Rory Gibson hasn't been around for two full weeks, and already, he is the Michael who Sasha needs him to be. Bring on our little Scorpio-Corinthos family.
