Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on General Hospital
While everyone around her is pushing for Elizabeth to officially reunite with Lucky, she has been keeping her guard up because she knows how this old song and dance goes. During the last few months, we were a bit worried that Liz had forgotten her tumultuous past with Lucky as she allowed him to romance her. Heck, she even agreed to take a long weekend trip to New York City with him before the accident that left her with a broken leg. It turned out that we didn't need to worry because Liz's gut tells her that she can't 100 percent trust Lucky — and she's right. She told Lucas that she didn't feel Lucky could give her what she needed, and that's someone who sticks around and can provide her with stability, as well as love. She knows that Lucky doesn't usually try to hurt her. He just always manages to do it. Elizabeth will soon learn that Lucky also still keeps secrets, even ones that have to do with her nearly dying. We still don't understand why Lucky is covering for Kristina, but he seems compelled to do so. So what if the alleged love of his life nearly died due to Kristina's actions? He still seems to be putting her ahead of Elizabeth. Too bad Liz is used to Lucky doing that. She knows the man she loves well, which means he is not the man for her.
