Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on General Hospital

For nearly FOUR WHOLE YEARS, General Hospital fans have been waiting for Nina and Carly to do what they did today. As soon as Carly learned that Nina knew an amnesiac Sonny was tending bar on the Pennsylvania side of the river in a cowboy hat and plaid, we expected one or both of them to slap one another across the face, but it never happened — until now. And it was everything we had been dreaming about and more. Remember that time in 2020 when Carly and Nina were friends and co-hosted the red carpet activities at the socially-distanced Nurses' Ball telethon in which almost the whole cast wore t-shirts and stayed six feet apart? That was the last time they ever got along until this year, when they formed a weird alliance to break up the Gruesome Twosome, aka Drew and Willow. We knew it couldn't last long, and GH wisely ended their little detente just before the 2025 Nurses' Ball begins. And what a delight the end was! Not only did Nina slap Carly and Carly slap her back, but they rolled all over the living room until super spy Josslyn swooped in and ruined it all by pulling Nina off her mother. Boo! We guess her WSB training has come in handy. It was everything we needed in the Granny Wars and more. We are not even sure whose side to be on as both women made some great points to each other before taking to the couch and the floor. We just loved watching it because this is what soaps are all about. Catfight! Squee!
Want more details? We got you! Soap Central has the best full GH recaps on the internet! You can even go back over 30 years and read each and every one of ‘em. If you can’t wait until the next episode, we have daily spoilers, too! And whatever you do this weekend, do not…seriously, do NOT…forget to read the Two Scoops for some laughs (hey, admit it, we’re funny) in the as-close-as-we-can-come to being a watching party without actually being a show — and the best part is if you agree or disagree, we want to know! You can watch General Hospital weekdays on ABC and Hulu.
