Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on General Hospital

It seems pretty clear (glaringly clear, actually) that Willow Tait is not of sound mind and body at all. She is completely out of control and has demonstrated that more than once. Yet, somehow, Elizabeth thinks it's fine for her to see patients and had even hoped to save Willow's job. Sure, she finally sent her home for the day after she slapped Lucas, as she acknowledged Willow was in no shape to work, but has she been in any shape to work since Liz saw her friend wheeled into the ER in a catatonic state in June? How about when Liz found her in a puddle of tears outside Carly's house after her ill-fated wedding to Drew and sent her back to work the next day? Then there's Lucas, who was on the receiving end of Willow's wrath and has declared Willow unfit to even be around her children. For some reason, neither one of these medical professionals has even considered that Willow might need some mental health help. In fact, nobody has ever suggested Willow seek therapy. Not when she left the cult she grew up in. Not when she learned almost two years after the fact that her son had died at just a few hours old. Not when she started sleeping with her husband's uncle. Not when she had a meltdown in court. Not when she stalked Daisy (and several people seem to know about that). It doesn't matter how irrational or unstable Willow acts; nobody helps her except to coddle her. For a soap that calls itself General Hospital, that's medical malpractice.
