Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on General Hospital

Uh-oh! Justine Turner is falling hard. Like every other lady of the law Sonny has wooed, she is starting to see that other side of Sonny. And we all know what happens next. We had to giggle watching Justine's face as she listened to a supposedly fine, upstanding congressman bully and threaten Sonny, while all the big, bad mobster did was keep his cool. Justine's jaw was on the floor and she was ready to prosecute Drew for extortion right then and there. Once Drew was gone, Sonny explained why that would be a bad idea. By then, Justine was in awe and had lost herself. So, all those horrible op-ed stories about Sonny were not true? How could that be? Sonny is the victim, and a congressman is the bad guy? Well, yes, Justine, congressmen are often the bad guys, but let's calm down about Sonny. Drew may be absolutely awful, but let's not forget who Sonny is. He just shot an unarmed man in cold blood less than a year ago outside the Quartermaine boat house. He also killed Monica Quartermaine's unarmed son in cold blood more than a decade ago. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Justine may be smitten, but she needs to not lose her head. We love our Sonny because he is Sonny, and we hate Drew because he is...well... a creep and ewww. However, much of what Justine has read about General Hospital's Sonny Corinthos has not been fake news at all.
