General Hospital Daily YAPP Recap, August 26: Ric tied to a bed in the basement is everything we never knew we needed

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on General Hospital

Remember when Liesl tied Peter to a bed in the woods back in 2018 and then got Nina in on it? Liesl relished in torturing Peter, eating a hearty sandwich in front of him with gusto, giving him a birthday cupcake, and then swiping it for herself.... Those were the glory days. Well, now Alexis, Kristina, and Ava have Ric tied to a bed in Alexis' basement, so let the good times roll! What could go wrong? So much. But what could also go right? Also, so much. The comedy of errors has already begun as Kristina told Ava she could explain, and Alexis ordered one of them to say something fast — or else, just like Carol Brady wanting to know what happened to Mom's favorite vase. Well, Mom's favorite paperweight met Ric's head, and now they are all in a pickle. They needed to think fast, so why not transfer an unconscious Ric to the basement, gag him, and tie him to a bed? Just think of how deliciously funny this little story is going to be as three hot mess women deal with one hot mess of a man. How they are going to keep this from Molly is beyond us, but it sure will be fun watching them try, just as it will be fun watching Ric attempt to escape. General Hospital has been on fire lately, and this is just one more thing we can't wait to watch.
