Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on General Hospital

It's been months since Gio learned that Brook Lynn and Dante were his parents, and while he seems to be softening toward them, we never understood why he was so angry to begin with. Gio is not some teenager who just learned he was given up for adoption. He is a grown man. Sure, he's only 22, but most 22-year-olds understand when they learn their birth mother was a teenager and didn't feel she was ready to raise a child. It's not like Brook Lynn and Dante kept the truth from him. They had no idea he was their son. Dante never even knew Brook Lynn had been pregnant. Gio should be directing his anger at the two liars in this scenario, Lois and Gloria. Gio still being so angry at his newfound father that he flat-out told Dante he never wanted a close relationship with him makes absolutely no sense. We know he and Dante had a falling out right before the big Nurses' Ball reveal, but Dante has apologized profusely for that. By this point, we should have had more scenes with Gio, Brook Lynn, and Dante together rather than them going on with their lives like nothing momentous just happened. We're ready to see some movement with this story, but for that to happen, Gio needs to unload that chip on his shoulder now.
