Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on General Hospital
Ever since Britt returned to the General Hospital scene last summer, we couldn't wait for Brad to join her. We knew he'd be back at some point because he would run through all that cash quickly, but we expected a little more drama. Instead, we got no drama. Brad already knew Britt was alive, uttered one line about how mean she was to fake her own death, and then forgave her 10 seconds later. Um, what? That's it? Where was all that outrage everyone else has shown Britt for letting them believe she was dead? As far as we know, Britt's own mother is still barely talking to her for pulling such a stunt nearly three years ago. Yet, Brad just basically said, "Whatevs" and moved on. We admit that the way Elizabeth and Terry have treated Britt has been ridiculous, as they weren't as close to her as Brad, and Liz knows plenty of people who faked their own deaths. (Baby Daddy Jason comes to mind.) But we expected at least two scenes of angst rather than no angst at all. Instead, Brad and Britt are planning an Oscars party with Rocky Road ice cream as if no time has passed. While it will be nice to see the team of Brad and Britt together again (karaoke, anyone?), a little more angst at their reunion would have been at least somewhat soapy.
