Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on General Hospital
Were scenes from the December 18th episode of General Hospital filmed so out of order that the writers and continuity editors have no idea who was supposed to be in the courtroom for Willow's trial when the show began? When GH ended yesterday, Dante left the courtroom to take a call in the hall while Lulu and Carly were both still sitting there. Then, the show opened today with Lulu and Carly both at home, while the courtroom activity picked up where it left off. Opening statements had just been delivered, and Dante re-entered after taking his call. Yet, somehow, both Lulu and Carly were now at home. Lulu was even there as a reporter, yet left before the first witness even took the stand and made it home in record time. As for Carly, she explained to Jack that she had been spending a lot of time at home rather than at the Metro Court. But she had just been to court, and there was no reason not to let Jack in on that innocuous fact. The entire thing was so bizarre that we were waiting the whole episode for an explanation as to why Carly and Lulu left the court proceedings out of nowhere and somehow made it home during the three minutes that Dante was in the hallway taking a phone call. Just make it make sense.
