General Hospital Daily YAPP Recap, December 2: Selina Wu shooting Drew was not the twist we had in mind

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on General Hospital

So, Selina Wu shot Drew or had one of her minions shoot Drew because Curtis wired her a million dollars? That is how we are solving this big months-long mystery, cause if so, bah-humbug? We sure hope not and pray there is another twist coming because otherwise, this is a big meh. Yes, we were surprised that Curtis hired Selina (but we knew something was up when Lydia Look appeared in the opening credits out of nowhere), but having it be a professional hit just kinda takes the luster out of the whole thing. With the list of suspects growing the entire year, a spontaneous crime of passion was much more suited for this story. And with all Drew did to destroy Willow's life under the guise of some sick love obsession this past year, Willow cracking and pulling the trigger really was the best way to end this. Not giving Willow a murderous alter is such a missed opportunity that all we can do is hope that Selina didn't accept the offer — or at least got there to find the job had already been done. However, with Nathan stressing it was a professional job, we have a feeling this is it. Then again, how did Selina or one of her henchmen get hold of Edward Quartermaine's gun? That might be the wild card here, so let's just wait and see...
