Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on General Hospital
Carly finally learned what we've known for years. Our boyfriend, Valentin Cassadine, is nothing but a softee at heart. So what if he poisoned her with polonium earlier this year and she nearly died? It wasn't like the tainted champagne was meant for Carly. Valentin just meant to kill Jack because he thought that Jack had tried to kill him. Now, Valentin and Carly are trying to bring down Jack together, with Valentin living in Carly's addict. And Carly saw that Valentin really is a human being when he genuinely thanked her for her hospitality and expressed how much he missed Charlotte. Carly was taken aback, but she did what we knew she would do. She found a way to bring Charlotte back to her house to reunite with her dad on Christmas Eve. Did we all not just cry watching father and daughter fly into each other's arms? Carly took a risk, but it was one we needed. Oh yeah, Valentin and Charlotte needed it, as well. Now, if Valentin can just bring down Jack, clear his name, and walk free, all will be right in our Valentin-loving world again. Maybe he can even buy his house back from Sonny. We did wonder if Charlotte felt a little weird being there, considering it was where she once lived with her dad. Now, hopefully Jack didn't have Carly followed...
