Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

Drew's treatment of Scout (and children in general) is one of the most heartbreaking stories we have seen on General Hospital 2025. This poor little girl lost her mother a year ago and is not even allowed to be anywhere near her big brother, for no other reason than her horrible father doesn't like his twin brother. She wasn't even allowed to see her grandmother or aunts for months, just because they looked at Drew crossly one day and disagreed with him. Now, Drew is blackmailing Alexis, with Scout access as the prize. She needs to represent Willow in court and win a not guilty verdict, or she will never see her grandchild again, even if this wounds his own child. Because that's who Drew is. And Alexis has ample witnesses who will testify to the fact that Drew has been doing this for months. So, why isn't Alexis, a top-notch lawyer in every legal field, using her skills to mount a custody case instead of just going along with whatever Drew wants? After all, she would be trying to win custody from a man who has had gun violence in his home, who slept with his nephew's wife (as well as his nephew's wife's mother), ingested ketamine, and did body shots off a prostitute in public. He also been accused of emotionally abusing his nephew/stepson and of illegally extorting Portia Robinson. Between everyone who can testify that Drew has been using his child as a blackmail pawn, plus Drew's questionable character, this case should be a shoo-in for Alexis, no?
