Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on General Hospital

Isn't a delight to turn on a soap opera and see three delicious and fascinating characters you never expected to see, two of which you haven't seen in quite a while? When Laura opened her door and saw Cyrus standing there, we had a feeling it was a dream, but we were oh-so hoping it was not. Wouldn't it have been the perfect twist to know Josslyn never actually killed him and joined the WSB for no real reason? When Cyrus confirmed his death, we knew it was a dream. However, we did not expect Esme to come waltzing down the stairs out of nowhere. Both these characters can and should be resurrected, especially Esme, whose body was never found. We know Esme didn't have a lot of fans because she came between Spencer and Trina, but she was never dull and GH needs young villainesses like Esme. Besides, she is the daughter of Ryan Chamberlain and Heather Webber, which means her default setting is crazy and fun. The surprise at the end wasn't as much of a surprise because that was our guess when we saw the weekly promo on Monday, but it was still a thrill to watch. Any time our boyfriend Valentin appears out of nowhere, it's a good time for us. And this wasn't a dream, so we cannot wait to see what's to come.
