Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on General Hospital

Let's face it. As a villain, Valentin is not all that scary. Sure, Helena (who turned out to be his mother) used to call him the most evil Cassadine of them all, but the thing is, he is not. Not even close. In the almost 10 years since Valentin has been on the General Hospital canvas, we haven't seen him kill anyone. And, at one time, he had become a respected member of society, meeting with the third-grade teacher (Willow), taking young teens trick-or-treating, and even living in the Q house as Bailey Lou's fake dad. When Brook Lynn told Ned that Valentin was terrifyingly angry after he learned Bailey Lou wasn't his, we wondered what show she was watching because it wasn't the one we were watching. As we recall, Valentin lay in bed and wept at the news. That is the opposite of terrifying. Yet, now the entire town is in a complete panic at the idea of big, bad, French-speaking, Billy Joel-singing, weepy Valentin being loose in Port Charles. Police commissioner Anna Devane is even madly in love with this man. There is nothing to fear. It's not like he even meant to kill Carly with polonium earlier this year. He was after Jack, and we frankly can't blame him. Neither can Carly at this point. So again, why is everyone so afraid of the most harmless Cassadine of them all? (Seriously, even Natasha Cassadine, aka Alexis, has killed more people.)
