General Hospital Daily YAPP Recap, December 9: Wow! Willow really is sick and tired of Drew!

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

It looks like Willow Tait is joining the rest of us with her distaste (to put it mildly) for her new husband, Drew Cain. When she told Nina that she knew exactly who Drew was, we weren't sure whether to believe her after the last year of watching her follow him around like a puppy dog, claiming he was all-powerful and could reach across the ocean to make things happen. Her annoyance and frustration at her husband were apparent on the December 9, 2025, episode and it was a joy to behold. Could Willow be coming into her own again and snapping out of her year-long stupor? She became a much more unlikable character with Drew, and that is saying a lot. Willow was once quite likable until she became Saint Willow and managed to beat cancer after neglecting to treat it for months, just like in real life (not). We need to see Willow come alive again and it just might be happening. She is not above stalking babies and new mothers, so maybe she is also not above shooting Drew. We still think that Willow or an alter did it. Maybe that is what Drew is blocking from his mind — the fact that his new wife hates him so much that she picked up a gun to try to kill him. That would sure put a damper on the honeymoon.
