Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on General Hospital
A breath of fresh German air has made its way back to Port Charles, and we couldn't be more thrilled. Something had been missing for the last 18 months, and it was Liesl's blunt honesty and big, bright smile. Sure, she was once a cartoon villainess who had two children with Cesar Faison and kept Robin Scorpio hostage, but GH characters have done worse and somehow redeemed themselves. Heck, her Britta stole an embryo and gave birth to someone else's child, and died a heroine two years ago, if she even really died at all. Liesl was everything Rocco hoped she would be — and everything we hoped she would be. Liesl didn't mince words when describing her daughter. Her Britta was a mess, something Rocco already knew from his parents, but Liesl made her out to be an endearing mess, which she was once she stopped stealing embryos. When Liesl announced that she would be staying in Port Charles indefinitely, we sent up three cheers at such joyous news. Nina did the same when Liesl stopped by her office to catch up on family life. When she learns that her bone marrow is now ready to marry Drew Cain, Willow might get the talking to that she's needed. Now, if only the soap would bring back Scott, Liesl's former flame. He was ready to marry her when she left. Now that she's back, can we have the wedding we've been waiting for?
