Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on General Hospital

Sonny Corinthos is that bad guy with a heart of gold you hate to love, but you love him anyway because he's been around forever. And let's face it, he is also compelling and that's thanks to decades of layered storytelling and the talent of Maurice Benard. However, every so often, he does stuff where you just can't take his side. It was hard not to be disturbed when Sonny shot an unarmed John "Jagger" Cates last fall, but we turned a blind eye because that is what Port Charles and the General Hospital audience often do. Soon, everyone will be turning a blind eye to the fact that Sonny really did kidnap Marco and threatened to kill him if Sidwell didn't do as told, but for now, Soap Central is calling it out. We are not defending Sidwell because Jordan might be right. Sonny and Sidwell are very much the same — ruthless, especially when someone threatens one of their kids. However, Sonny's attitude over the accusation just rubbed us the wrong way. The cops know what he did. We know what he did. And ADA Turner knows what he did. She just has to prove it. Too bad she can't also sue Sonny for sexual harassment because his cocky attitude and creepy comment about Turner missing him sent chills up our spine. Sonny will always be a character we can't get enough of, but there are times when we need to call a spade a spade.
