Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on General Hospital

Carly has been relatively level-headed during the entire Drillow mess. We even found ourselves agreeing with her at times, but her signature hypocrisy and sheer lack of self-awareness found their way back to Carly on July 29th when she declared that Nina "could have ended this entire nightmare if she had just told Willow the truth." Oh, Carly, maybe we should go back to the very beginning of your feud with Nina, which YOU started by withholding the identity of her daughter from her. Carly took it upon herself to decide that Nina didn't need to know that Nelle was her daughter, which then led Nina to keep Sonny's identity a secret when she ran into the presumed-dead amnesiac mobster in Nixon Falls. Two years later, it was clear that Carly didn't learn her lesson and decided to keep the identity of Nina's other daughter from her. The only reason she even told Nina the truth is that Willow needed bone marrow and she thought Nina could help. So, hearing Carly declare that telling the truth was the only way to go was pretty rich, considering how many life-altering secrets she kept from Nina. And that was just over the last four years. She's kept quite a few other massive secrets through the decades, so she should just keep her mouth shut and stop judging others. But if she did that, then she wouldn't be Carly.
