Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on General Hospital

For the second day in a row, General Hospital has tried to tell us that Morgan Corinthos died due to a car bomb meant for Sonny, but that is not actually true. Josslyn said it to Vaughn on Wednesday, and Tracy repeated the fake news to Gio on Thursday. At the time, Carly believed that Sonny was responsible for their son's death, but they eventually learned the truth, as did the rest of Port Charles. Those of us who were watching then know exactly what happened. The Jerome family caused Morgan's death. Ava had switched Morgan's bipolar meds for placebos to help break up his relationship with her daugther, Kiki. She had no idea the effect it would have on him. Morgan didn't realize he was off his meds, began acting erratically, and drank too much one night at Charlie's. That led to a meltdown, and Morgan ended up stealing Julian Jerome's car. The car exploded and went off a cliff, but no body was ever found. Carly immediately blamed Sonny for what happened because she thought Sonny had set the car bomb to try to kill Julian. We later learned that Julian and Ava's sister, Olivia Jerome, was the one who planted the bomb, because in her deranged state, she wanted her brother dead. So, nobody was gunning for Sonny, and his mob business had absolutely nothing to do with Morgan's death.
