Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What happened on General Hospital
Brook Lynn has seemed to mature over the last few weeks as she's taken Tracy's advice to give Gio space while he works through his feelings. After all, he just learned his entire life had been a lie, and the person he thought of as his mom wasn't his mom. On the June 25th episode, Dante was gung-ho on doing something to reach out to Gio, but Brook Lynn discouraged it and reiterated her goal to let Gio come to them when he was ready. Dante didn't listen to Brook Lynn and approached Gio at the pool, but Brook Lynn didn't listen to Brook Lynn either because that mature side of her flew out the window as soon as Dante left the room. She went right back to perusing her Rocco Falconeri and Britt Westbourne files in a quest to make Lulu pay for blowing the Gio secret sky high. Brook Lynn had advised Lulu not to play with fire, but now she is refusing to take her own advice. In Lulu's case, she stumbled on information she thought Dante had a right to know. In Brook Lynn's case, she is purposely digging into Lulu's past out of revenge and is surely going to ruin Rocco's life in the process. No matter how wrong Lulu was to not mind her business, Brook Lynn's actions are now calculated and purposeful, making what she is about to do so much worse.
