General Hospital Daily YAPP Recap, May 27: Are we getting a Michael-Sasha redux?

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on General Hospital

Is General Hospital about to right a wrong it put into motion in 2020 when it broke up Sasha and Michael to make Willow and Michael into a couple? Clearly, Willow and Michael did not work out, considering that she slept with Michael's uncle and sees absolutely nothing wrong with her behavior. Heck, she even paints herself as the victim now. Yes, Michael cheated, too, but only after he learned that Willow had kissed Drew months earlier. Now, Sasha is ready to give birth to Michael's child, and a brand-new Michael is back from his stay in a German burn clinic. We don't think it was a coincidence that on Michael's first full episode back in Port Charles, his one-on-one scenes were with Sasha and not with Willow. There was already chemistry and an easy rapport between Sofia Mattsson and Rory Gibson, and we can't wait to see where this will go. Michael told Sasha he is ready to be a part of their child's life if she wants him to be, which gives Sasha some food for thought. It's pretty obvious that General Hospital dropped its idea of pairing Sasha and Jason. With Michael back, he is the perfect choice for a love interest for Sasha after the show blew up Sasha and Cody last year. It's not like Sasha and Michael haven't been in love before? Is it finally time to see "Misha rising," as fans like to say?
