Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on General Hospital

Seriously, how does a character go from stand-up guy to complete louse in the course of a year, then get shot, and wake up more horrible than they were before two bullets were pumped into their back? As we've pointed out before, Drew is nothing more than a cartoon villain now. All he needs is a mustache to twirl, and the transformation will be complete. For his latest trick, Drew had all the Quartermaine heirlooms shipped to his house just to be petty. His actions and his attitude gave Ned a heart attack — literally. And Drew? Well, he is as bad as the younger version of his Aunt Tracy, a woman recovering from his latest machinations at a spa in France. Poor Ned could barely breathe, was clutching his chest, and all Drew could do was laugh at him and hobble off on that cane that should just become a permanent part of his Drew Cain Cartoon Villain costume. How much more ewww can Drew even get at this point? At least he gave us a big surprise on a Monday episode. Who expected Ned to be the hand we saw in the promo, sliding off the chair outside Bobbie's? We sure didn't. We love it when soaps completely shock us, as it did today when it allowed Drew's entire persona to become an attempted murder weapon.
