Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on General Hospital
Ric and Alexis have finally shared their first scenes since Alexis locked Ric in her basement, chained to a gurney with a ball gag in his mouth for a month, and they are still the perfect pair. Sometimes ya just gotta let bygones be bygones, right? That seems to be what Ric is trying to do, and we are here for it. They can even laugh (somewhat, Alexis more than Ric) about the 30-day incident in her basement before getting down to business. Ric and Alexis have a plan to help the Scooby gang out of their sticky situation and are tag-teaming it, showing what a perfect pair they make professionally. That needs to carry on to the personal side, because why not? Alexis has not had a love interest in years and Ric's romance with Ava is most certainly over. We know Ric is still carrying a torch for Elizabeth, but she has absolutely no interest in taking things outside the friend zone. So, let's just do this already. Rick Hearst and Nancy Lee Grahn have chemistry to spare and they prove it with every scene and every back-and-forth banter. If Ric's time in the basement really did turn him into a new man, then maybe he is finally the right person for Alexis. Besides, it would make Molly so happy, and who doesn't want to see Molly happy?
