General Hospital Daily YAPP Recap, October 20: Drew's courtroom outburst proves one thing

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

How is Drew Cain still a congressman? Since being elected last year, Drew has been outed for having an affair with his nephew's wife, drank body shots off a prostitute in public, and now shouted at his ex-lover in a courtroom while calling her a bitch. In normal times, that would be enough to kick anyone out of office, right? But it must not be normal times in General Hospital's version of the United States right now. Or maybe Port Charles politicians are assimilating to the new normal in a case of art imitating life. At least it gave us some good ol' soap opera courtroom theatrics, right? Drew's disgusting outburst aside, watching Nina throw her daughter right under the big, fat bus was pretty amazing. Yes, Nina was agonized while doing so, but nobody deserved it more than that little ingrate Willow. She had already told Drew and Marty that Nina made her lie, but she was certainly willing to keep up that lie if it meant she could be spared. For Willow, it's all about Willow and nobody else. Plus, it's always fun to see the always over-confident Drew and always selfish not get their way. These two were willing to frame Michael, whether they believed he did it or not, so whatever happens to Drew and Willow next, they certainly deserve it. We are sure Michael feels the same.
